Amazing Kitchen Interior Design

One of the biggest trends in home decor is open shelving, and this trend extends to kitchen design. But designers like Rasheeda Gray are bringing back full cabinetry for storage. Here, she’s chosen a simple color palette, and opted for an open shelving look to showcase her collection. While open shelving has become a popular trend, Gray Space Interior Design brings back traditional full cabinetry, with the option to leave some cabinets open.

If you’re avoiding a single color scheme, make sure your colors complement each other. Color schemes in the kitchen shouldn’t be overly bold – stick to a neutral palette and avoid anything too bright or bold. For an understated, collected feel, choose shades in natural textures. Colors such as grey or blue are also a safe bet. If you want something more sophisticated, opt for navy blue or light blue tones.

Incorporate a cool color palette for a calming feel. A deep blue cabinet will look good against a white countertop, while green and purple are also calming colors. Use natural wood for countertops to avoid attracting dirt and other dust. For the floor, a marbled texture is an excellent choice. A kitchen with lots of storage can be a real headache, so choose colors that will make your day easier. You can also incorporate a color scheme into your existing kitchen.

A mirrored island will add glam and style to a small kitchen. If you’re looking for a way to add some personality to your kitchen, consider hanging a gold-rimmed mirrored island. It’s a simple way to inject a little glam into the space without feeling cluttered. If you don’t have the space for a mirrored island, you can still add a small plant collection. If space allows, you can also plant some herbs in a glass cabinet.

Adding a rug to a small kitchen can be a great way to bring some color to the room. Rugs add warmth to the space while adding color and pattern without overwhelming the space. The interior designer Michelle Nussbaumer used warm colors and packed texture-rich materials into a small space. This technique has proved to be one of the easiest ways to create a vibrant kitchen. Just make sure that the rug has a thick pad underneath it so you don’t slip and fall.

Some designers take an all-white kitchen to the extreme by mixing black and white elements. Megowan Architecture mixes new and old in a striking way. Their black and white colour palette works with a brick wall, which contrasts nicely with the smooth cabinetry. Other working elements of the kitchen are hidden behind cabinet doors. This kitchen also incorporates geometric lighting. This design works well with a minimalist palette. There is a matte black finish for the cabinets, which is less shocking than shiny black surfaces.

Some independent designers work with clients and suggest visiting showrooms or suppliers. However, you should make sure you choose a designer who has the time and dedication to give you the kitchen you desire. After all, you’re paying for the service, so it’s worth it. Also, keep in mind that most designers have a busy schedule, so make sure that you have enough time to work with a designer. Aside from that, you can ask them for references and see if they’re in the same line of work as you.
